Fine Increment

A fine increment is the amount incurred for each open day that a checkout is overdue and the grace period has elapsed. Be sure to type a decimal to indicate dollars or cents. For example, .10 equals $0.10; 10. equals $10.00.

If a grace period is defined, no fine increment is charged until the end of the grace period. After the grace period passes, the fine is calculated beginning the day after the due date.
