Limit the Times for Running Statistics Reports

You might want to prevent staff members from running reports or performing tasks that are resource-intensive between certain hours or on a specific day of the week. Doing so ensures sufficient performance of Destiny during normal circulation hours when staff is in the system, and minimizes the impact on their daily functions.

1. Log in as a Destiny Administrator.
2. Select Setup > District Options.
3. Next to Limit Tasks, click Edit. The District Tasks page appears.
4. In The hours of fields, enter the start and end time when tasks cannot be performed.
5. Use the On checkboxes to select the days of the week you want to prevent the tasks from running.
6. Use the Tasks checkboxes to select reports and tasks you do not want to run during the chosen time frame and days.
7. Click Save.
