Limit access to digital content for computers and networks
To add or edit entries in your Define Access list, select the following properties for each computer or group of computers:
- Select Grant or Deny.
- Select Single computer or Group of computers.
- Enter the IP address of the computer for which you want to grant or deny access.
- If you selected Group of computers, enter the subnet mask of the network for which you want to grant or deny access.
- Click Save.
Important: You need to stop and restart the Destiny service for your saved changes to take effect.
If you define overlapping IP ranges, Destiny applies the rules in the following order of priority:
- Single IP addresses (grant or deny) have top priority.
Note that you cannot add duplicate IP addresses. - Next, IP ranges that grant access.
- Finally, IP ranges that deny access.
