Set up digital resource access

On the Setup Digital Resource Access page, you can deselect from the default patrons who have access to your given collection.

example: You purchase a professional collection just for teachers. You want only teachers to view this collection. You need to deselect Student and Guest access to the given collection.

To select permissions

1. Make sure you have configured your collection. This must be done prior to permissions.
2. As a Site Admin, select Catalog > Search Setup > Enriched Content Searches.
3. In the Digital Resources Service section, click Permissions. The Setup Digital Resource Access page appears.
4. Click the plus () next to the collection you want to evaluate permissions.

   important: Permissions let you deselect from the patrons able to search the digital resources in your various collections. These permissions are based on the Library Material permission, Search Digital Resources as.

5. Make changes accordingly, click Save.
