Public Lists

You can share Resource Lists locally or with other schools in the district. If you view a List that is useful, you can copy it. It is possible to copy any public List.

Sharing Lists lets teams of teachers or students collaborate to create a Resource List and co-own it. Shared Lists can be private, public - local or district-wide.

Work with Public Lists

  1. Select Catalog > Resource List > Public Lists sub-tab.
  2. Do one of the following:
    If you want to...Then...
    Change the order of the columnsClick any column heading to change the order to ascending. Click the column heading again to change the order back to descending.

    Reassign ownership of a public Resource List to another user

    Important: To retain a Resource List, you must transfer it before deleting the original owner from Destiny.

     

    1. Click Transfer Owner icon..
    2. In the Find Patron field, enter a search term.
    3. Use the in drop-down to choose a patron record field.
    4. To search patrons at your site, select Only my patrons.
    5. Click Search.
    6. Next to the patron, click Select. A confirmation message appears.
    7. Click Yes.
    Edit a List
    1. Find the Resource List you want to edit, and then click Edit icon..
    2. Update the appropriate fields as needed.
    3. When done, click Save.
    Delete a List
    1. Find the Resource List you want to delete, and then click Delete icon.. A confirmation message appears.
    2. Click Yes.
